According to Album des pavillons nationaux et des marques distinctives
(National flags and distinctive markings) (2000 edition) [pay00],
the air force roundel of the Central African Republic is yellow, green, white and blue concentric disks (of unequal width),
with the middle blue
disk containing the yellow star, while the red vertical stripe is crossing all other disks. The roundel is also shown in Correction 29 of
the previous Album issue.

Cochrane and Elliot (1998) [cos98],
Wheeler (1966) [whe86] and L'Album [pay01]
are in agreement about the roundel. However, the fin flash is another matter.
Cochrane & Elliot (1998) [cos98] show rudder
stripes in shape of national flag (without the star), rotated in 90 degrees
whereas Wheeler (1966) [whe86] shows the regular flag.
The national flag-fin flash can also be seen at
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/175439/L/
which seems to confirm Wheeler.
